Putang Power features two distinct phenotypes of the highly acclaimed Putang strain, selected as one of High Times’ top 10 strains of 2019.
These stunning crosses of Tangie x Star Pupil were bred by Mass Medical Strains and grown by the one and only Bone Crusher. The perfect strains for going about your day in a mellowed-out and stress-free mindset.
One phenotype features stunning hues of deep amethyst, while the other exhibits lovely shades of chartreuse. Both are beautifully accented with thickets of healthy tangerine pistils and cured to perfection for the smoothest of smoking experiences.
The purple pheno gives rise to a complex aroma of grapefruit, orange and candied lemon peel with base notes of lavender and ginger. The green pheno is somewhat similar, yet heavier on the ginger aroma, with bursts of mango and tropical notes.
Putang Power is a phenomenal choice for those chasing a functional, clear-headed high that will have you beaming with good vibes. The purple phenotype is slightly more mellow at 10.5% THC while the green pheno is a little jazzier at 15% THC. The green pheno is orange citrus to me and very sativa.
The purple pheno is what drew me back. Same great taste and light buzz. Great buzz on both showings.
The %10 label is what kept me away before, dont make that mistake. Light soothing buzz, not really weak at all.

I was somewhat skeptical going into the purchase of this tin as I’m not a huge sativa fan in general. However, this was interesting smoke no doubt. Very tropical aromas that translate well into a joint. Both phenos burned tasty, clean and smooth. The purple pheno was lower in thc but certainly left a good impression due to its terpene profile abd over all buzz. The heavier pheno was more of a treat for me. Super jazzy and good energy. All in all this left a good impression on my palate and mind.
